a brief word about copyrights

(AKA The Fine Print)

For all submissions to LAB, all rights will remain with the original creator(s) of the work. That’s you, right?

By submitting, you’re simply granting LAB the usage rights to include your work (with attribution, of course!) in a future issue of LAB (which is produced in three versions: web, print, and PDF).

If you submit work to one of the LAB projects, and also post it to the LAB projects pool on Flickr, we may show a thumbnail of your submission on our Projects page. We’ll also make sure that thumbnail includes a link to your photo, per Flickr’s terms of service.

Don’t worry— LAB won’t reproduce your artwork in advertisements, on swag, or in any format outside the magazine, PDF, or website. You work hard to make what you make. We’re here to showcase your stuff, not rip it off.
